Bradford, ON
Project Bradford is a four-season cedar addition built onto the back of an existing home — a full timber-framed sunroom that wraps the house in tongue-and-groove cedar walls and ceilings, exposed structural beams, and floor-to-ceiling glazing.
Rather than reading as a bolt-on addition, the space was engineered to feel like it was always part of the house: heavy timber trusses and steel bracket joinery carry the roofline, while a full run of windows keeps the surrounding trees and gardens part of the room year-round.
The result is a warm, livable space that extends the home's usable square footage through every season — built to the same standard as the rest of the house, inside and out.
